Atlanta Food & Wine Festival Returns with Expanded Tasting Experience
The Atlanta Food & Wine Festival is set to return for its second year at The Home Depot Backyard, promising four days of culinary delights. This year's event will feature over 200 chefs, mixologists, and sommeliers showcasing their skills in tasting tents.
Organizers say the new venue allows for more space between tasting tents and better on-stage demonstrations. One highlight is 'The Atlanta Standard' hosted by AJC senior food and dining editor Monti Carlo, which celebrates the city's unique flavors and creativity.
Other notable events include Andrew Zimmern's 'Flavors of Atlanta,' where he'll discuss the city's diverse influences, and 'Stacked: The Burger Social' hosted by chef Ford Fry. Kelli Potter, owner of Nana's Chicken & Waffles, will also showcase her talents in 'Southern Fried: A Fried Chicken Affair.'
