ɪʙAUC: Auction Market Theory Tool for Intraday Trading Decisions
The Initial Balance Auction Intelligence (ɪʙAUC) framework is an Auction Market Theory tool that analyzes how price develops after the Initial Balance. It uses post-IB auction windows to identify different states, including acceptance, failed auctions, retest/continuation, rejection, and two-sided auctions.
The IB ranges from the opening session's high (IBH) to low (IBL), with the midpoint being IBM. The framework operates on intraday timeframes of 30 minutes or less and requires 1-minute lower-timeframe data for precise auction-window construction.
ɪʙAUC provides a range of metrics, including Regime, Bias, Phase, Pressure, Quality, Maturity, and Invalidation levels. The dashboard shows these metrics along with contextual tooltips, allowing traders to make informed decisions.
The framework is intended for informational and educational purposes only and should not be used as financial, investment, or trading advice. Traders should use their own discretion when making trading decisions based on the output of ɪʙAUC.
