Avengers Drop Tower Ride to Debut at Hong Kong Disneyland with Innovative Twist

Walt Disney Imagineers have reinvented the classic drop tower ride system for their new Avengers-themed attraction at Hong Kong Disneyland. The ride will star an all-star roster of Avengers, including Spider-Man, Black Panther, Doctor Strange, and Thor.

The new drop tower ride will be part of a larger expansion in Tomorrowland's Stark Expo area, which includes a courtyard featuring a large Quinjet. Guests will have the opportunity to spot their favorite Marvel superheroes in person within this area.

Unlike previous adaptations of the Tower of Terror ride system, such as Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission, BREAKOUT! at Disney California Adventure, the Avengers drop tower ride will not simply transform an existing attraction. Instead, it is being built from scratch using a unique interpretation of the technology.
