Aviation Industry Struggles with Carbon Composite Recycling

The aviation industry is facing a significant challenge as aircraft recyclers struggle to recycle carbon composite materials from planes like the Airbus A350 and Boeing 787.

These planes are made with carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP), which has become the new standard for commercial aircraft construction due to its strength and light weight.
