Aviva Arena Names Martyn Jenkin as Head of Partnerships Ahead of Bristol Debut
A new appointment has been made at Aviva Arena in Bristol, which is currently under construction and due to open in late 2028. Martyn Jenkin will be the head of partnerships for the venue, reporting directly to Sarah McBride, who serves as partnerships director.
Jenkin brings a wealth of experience from his previous roles, including time spent at Momentum Worldwide where he led American Express' ticketing partnerships with Formula 1 and others. He also worked on presale activations for global tours by artists such as Harry Styles and Olivia Rodrigo.
The Aviva Arena is expected to host around 1.4 million visitors annually across music, sport, and entertainment once it opens. The venue's operators, YTL Live, forecast that the arena will contribute £1 billion to the local economy during its first decade of operation and create more than 2,000 jobs during construction.
YTL Live CEO Andrew Billingham welcomed Jenkin's appointment, highlighting his experience in delivering innovative partnerships for well-known brands. 'Martyn's experience makes him an outstanding addition to our team,' Billingham said.
