AWS and Microsoft Azure Expand Multicloud Networking with Private Connectivity
AWS and Microsoft Azure have collaborated to expand multicloud networking by providing private, high-speed connectivity between their platforms. This collaboration aims to simplify the process of moving workloads seamlessly between cloud providers.
With AWS Interconnect, multicloud, customers can provision private connectivity between AWS and Microsoft Azure on demand, eliminating the need for manual provisioning and reducing the time it takes from weeks or months to a few clicks.
The experience is built on the same principles as previous collaborations under AWS Interconnect, multicloud, including high resiliency, security, and scalability. The open specification allows new providers to join without requiring customers to re-architect their networks.
AWS and Microsoft will continue to expand regional availability, increase bandwidth options, and deepen the experience based on customer feedback. They aim to shift the paradigm on all connectivity, allowing customers to turn up a global network and connect to anything they want with ease.
