AWS Brings Web Search to Amazon Bedrock for Grounded Model Responses

Amazon Web Services (AWS) has announced the general availability of Web Search on Amazon Bedrock, a server-side built-in tool that grounds model responses in current web knowledge.

This feature is designed for Amazon Bedrock model inference and provides several differentiators, including a multi-source grounding approach, context-efficient retrieval, and single-parameter enablement.

The tool uses Amazon's pre-indexed web corpus and combines it with a built-in knowledge graph to answer factual questions with strong confidence.
