Amazon Web Services (AWS) CEO Matthew Garman has sold $3.77 million worth of Amazon stock, according to a recent filing. The sale took place on August 21, 2026, and consisted of 14,541 shares being sold at prices ranging from $257.09 to $260.79.

The transactions were carried out under a Rule 10b5-1 trading plan that Garman adopted on May 4, 2026. This type of plan allows executives to sell or buy company stock in accordance with a predetermined schedule, without being influenced by market conditions at the time of sale.

In addition to the sale, Garman also acquired a total of 18,176 shares of Amazon common stock through the vesting of restricted stock unit awards on August 21, 2026. These awards converted into common stock at $0 per share.
