Azure and AWS Team Up for Multicloud Connectivity
Microsoft and Amazon Web Services (AWS) have joined forces to simplify private connectivity between Azure and AWS. This collaboration enables customers to provision dedicated, high-speed links between the two cloud platforms through a cloud-native experience.
The service combines Microsoft's Azure Multicloud Interconnect with AWS Interconnect, multicloud, using an open API specification developed by AWS for network interoperability.
Clients can provision connectivity through the AWS Management Console or Azure portal. This partnership aims to enhance seamless interaction between customers' on-premises environments and cloud services.
