Azure Ignites Microsoft Stock Rally Amid Strong Earnings
Microsoft's stock price surged 4.9% in Monday's trading session after its Azure platform saw a significant jump in revenue.
The company's cloud computing segment, Azure, reported a 43% increase in revenue compared to analysts' forecast of approximately 40.4%. Microsoft Cloud revenue also rose by 27%, reaching $59.3 billion.
Following the release of its fiscal fourth-quarter results, at least 10 analysts raised their price targets for the company's stock. This reflects stronger expectations for AI-related software and cloud demand.
