BA Amex Revamps Premium Plus Card with Generous Sign-Up Bonus

British Airways American Express has relaunched its Premium Plus card with a generous sign-up bonus. The new offer includes a £6,000 spend requirement within three months to earn 60,000 Avios points, which is roughly enough for a one-way short-haul business class ticket.

The free card now also doubles its bonus to 10,000 Avios points, making it an attractive option for frequent travelers. Eligibility requires no recent ownership of either the BA Amex card, and applicants must not have held either card in the past 24 months to qualify for the Premium Plus bonus.

The £300 annual fee is refundable if downgraded or canceled, providing some flexibility for users. Business cardholders can earn 40,000 Avios points, even if they already hold a personal BA Amex card. The promotion marks the first open-to-all BA Amex offer in three years.
