Badgers Rout Wranglers in SWJCFC Debut

Snow College's Badgers began their Southwest Junior College Football Conference play on a high note, defeating Cisco College 39-10. The game was marked by a dominant second half performance from the Badgers' defense, which held the Wranglers scoreless for three quarters and forced four turnovers.

The game started slowly for the Badgers, who trailed 10-0 late in the first quarter. However, they responded with touchdowns on three consecutive possessions to take control of the game. The turning point came when Caleb Darthard deflected a Cisco pass into the air, where Maxx Johnson was waiting to intercept it and set up Snow College's first lead.

From there, the Badgers' offense and defense took over, with Dylan Story connecting with LaDainian Wall for a 25-yard touchdown and Ian Sanches making the extra point to give Snow College its first lead. The Badgers continued to add points in the second half, with Kaleb Miller and Kolter Stuart stopping a Cisco ball carrier in the end zone for a safety and extending the lead to 22-10.

The game was sealed in the fourth quarter when Fale Atuaia intercepted a pass and returned it 32 yards for a touchdown. Will Warner delivered another defensive score just 92 seconds later, intercepting a pass and returning it 34 yards for a touchdown, giving Snow College a 39-10 lead.
