Bangladesh Commits to Major Boeing Deal Under Trump Administration

US Ambassador to India and Special Envoy to South and Central Asia Sergio Gor praised President Donald Trump's economic policies after Bangladesh agreed to purchase additional Boeing aircraft.

The deal is part of a broader effort by the Trump administration to secure high-value international manufacturing deals and boost domestic employment.

Gor posted on X that Bangladesh would spend billions of dollars on additional Boeing commercial aircraft, significantly increasing its initial order of 14 aircraft to 25 in July 2025.

The aircraft are intended for Biman Bangladesh Airlines as part of its fleet modernization and expansion plan.

In the post, Gor also highlighted President Trump's efforts to bring in 'trillions of dollars' in investment and create 'millions of high-paying jobs', calling him the greatest JOBS President in American History.
