Bangladesh has agreed to purchase additional Boeing aircraft from the United States under an accord reached this week, according to US diplomat Sergio Gor.

Gor, the US special envoy for South and Central Asia and ambassador to India, described the agreement as an 'incredible deal' between President Donald Trump and Bangladesh's Prime Minister Tarique Rahman.

The new commitment will significantly increase Bangladesh's initial order of Boeing aircraft, with Gor stating that the country will spend billions of dollars on additional planes. However, he did not specify the exact number of aircraft involved or the value of the expanded commitment.
