Barrett & Company Inc., an institutional investor, has increased its stake in Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN) by a significant margin. In the second quarter, the company boosted its holdings in Amazon.com by 60.2%, adding 13,831 shares to its portfolio.
The total value of Barrett & Company Inc.'s holding in Amazon.com is now worth $8,770,000, accounting for approximately 2.5% of its overall portfolio. This makes Amazon.com the company's 10th biggest holding.
Barrett & Company Inc. isn't the only institutional investor to have increased its stake in Amazon.com recently. Several other investors, including Red Crane Wealth Management LLC and Measured Risk Portfolios Inc., have also added to their positions in the e-commerce giant during the first quarter.
