Belgrade Theatre Coventry Unveils Spring Season Lineup with Award-Winning Productions
The Belgrade Theatre in Coventry has announced its lineup for the 2027 Spring Season. The season will feature a range of productions, including award-winning drama, new comedy, and family entertainment.
Headlining the season is James Graham's Punch, which won the 2026 Olivier Award for Best New Play. It will visit the theatre from April 20th to 24th as part of its UK tour.
Another highlight of the season is the world premiere of Nanny of the Maroons, written by Corey Campbell and Lucia Haynes. This play tells the story of an 18th-century freedom fighter and was developed through a community co-creation process at the Belgrade Theatre.
The season will also feature other notable productions, including The Reckoning, which centers on Ukrainian culture, and A Thing of Beauty, a psychological drama about filmmaker Leni Riefenstahl. For younger audiences, there will be adaptations of Piers Torday's The Last Wild and the classic children's book The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show.
General tickets for the season will go on sale from September 10th, 2026.
