Beloved Educator and Boy Scouts Leader Roger A. Frese Passes Away
Roger A. Frese, an educator and Boy Scouts of America leader, passed away at his home in St. Henry, Ohio, on July 29, 2026.
A 1965 graduate of Lima Bath High School, Frese went on to receive a bachelor's degree in education from Defiance College and served as a para-rescue in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam era.
Frese dedicated his life to teaching and coaching at various schools, including Parkway High School and Tri-Village Schools, where he mentored students in chemistry, physics, and golf. He was also an active member of the Boy Scouts of America and Order of the Arrow, dedicating countless hours to mentoring young people.
A memorial service will be held on August 5, 2026, at Cisco Funeral Home in Celina, where family and friends can pay their respects and share condolences online.
