Bento MDM Bolsters Security with Okta and Microsoft Integrations
Bucharest-based software company Bento MDM has integrated its enterprise unified device and endpoint management platform with Okta Device Trust and Microsoft Entra Conditional Access. This allows organizations to apply identity-based access controls to managed devices.
The integration connects the device compliance state held in Bento MDM to identity and access policies in Okta and Microsoft Entra ID, formerly Azure AD. A device that falls out of compliance can be blocked from corporate resources until it returns to a compliant state.
According to Radu Scarlat, Chairman and CEO of Bento, 'Identity and device management have often been handled as separate problems.' He added that connecting Bento MDM to Okta and Microsoft Entra ID lets organizations make access decisions based on device compliance as well as user identity, which is the practical basis of a Zero Trust model.
