This is not the first time Procter & Gamble has received a Hold from Berenberg Bank; however, it is one of several views on the company's stock. On August 5, Bank of America Securities maintained a Buy rating on Procter & Gamble, while Argus Research analyst Chris Graja issued a Hold in a report on August 7.

Procter & Gamble reported quarterly revenue of $21.2 billion and a net profit of $3 billion for the quarter ending June 30. This compares to last year's revenue of $20.89 billion and a net profit of $3.62 billion.
