Berkshire Doubles Down on Alphabet with Record-Breaking Investment
Berkshire Hathaway, led by Warren Buffett, has made its largest investment in Alphabet, parent company of Google, worth $36.6 billion.
This makes Alphabet Berkshire's third-largest publicly traded stock holding, behind Apple and American Express.
Buffett had previously admitted to missing the chance to invest in Google years ago, saying he 'blew it' after seeing its strong margins and advertising business work.
