Berkshire Hathaway Concentrates Portfolio on Top Stocks Under New Leadership
Greg Abel, the new CEO of Berkshire Hathaway, has concentrated 63% ($226 billion) of the company's $360 billion investment portfolio in five superstar stocks.
The biggest positions are in Apple (20.2%), American Express (14%), Alphabet (10.2%, both classes combined), Coca-Cola (9.9%), and Bank of America (8.4%).
Abel has continued the strategy started by Warren Buffett, focusing on a concentrated portfolio of top picks.
The tech sector now accounts for more than 30% of Berkshire's investment portfolio, with Apple and Alphabet being major contributors.
