Bernstein Predicts Big Gains for Apple Ahead of WWDC 2026
Investment firm Bernstein has reaffirmed its Outperform rating for Apple stock ahead of the company's Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2026. The conference, running from June 8 to 12, is expected to showcase Apple's advancements in AI and potentially impact its market narrative.
Bernstein estimates that Apple could see a 13% upside to earnings per share from an accelerating replacement cycle and a further 16% upside from upselling a premium version of Apple Intelligence. The firm sees potential for Apple to charge a toll on future transactions where Apple Intelligence is the facilitator.
Other analysts are also optimistic about Apple's prospects, with BofA Securities reiterating a Buy rating and price target of $380.00. However, UBS maintains a Neutral rating with a $296.00 price target, citing slower growth in App Store revenue.
Gene Munster from Deepwater Asset Management believes that the event could trigger a rerating of Apple's stock if the company successfully unveils a redesigned Siri with enhanced AI capabilities.
