Bezos Donates Over 415K Amazon Shares to Charity
Amazon Executive Chair Jeffrey P. Bezos made significant charitable donations to nonprofit organizations, gifting over 415,000 Amazon shares in two separate transactions on August 25 and 26, 2026.
The first gift consisted of 184,943 shares valued at $0, leaving Bezos with 879,554,061 shares directly held. This was followed by a second gift of 230,637 shares on August 26, which reduced his direct holdings to 879,323,424 shares.
Bezos' indirect holdings through trusts and a wholly owned LLC remain at 5,087,266 shares. As trustee and manager, he disclaims beneficial ownership of these shares.
