Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary announced on Saturday that the state government has finalized an agreement with Google to train teachers in artificial intelligence tools. The goal is to enhance their teaching capabilities, and this move follows similar agreements signed with other organizations to improve teaching quality.

The MoU aims to provide teachers with training on the latest technologies in AI, which will be developed in collaboration with Microsoft, Google, and Sarvam AI. This initiative will expand the scope of the teaching-learning experience in the state through Bihar Vidya Saathi, a round-the-clock interactive digital learning and AI-enabled doubt-solving platform.

The Chief Minister also highlighted that the school dropout rates have declined significantly over the years, from 46% to 2% at the primary level, from 73% to below 10% at the upper-elementary level, and from 83% to below 7% at the higher-secondary level. Additionally, the share of out-of-school children has decreased from nearly 12% to just 1.7%.
