BILL Set to Exceed Expectations Again in Q2 Earnings
Financial automation platform BILL (NYSE:BILL) is set to report its Q2 earnings on Wednesday after market close. The company has a history of exceeding Wall Street's expectations, having beaten analysts' revenue estimates last quarter with revenues of $406.6 million, up 13.5% year on year.
Analysts are expecting BILL's revenue to grow 12.3% year on year this quarter, which is in line with the 11.5% increase it recorded in the same quarter last year. Analysts covering the company have generally reconfirmed their estimates over the last 30 days, suggesting they anticipate the business will stay the course heading into earnings.
Looking at BILL's peers in the finance and hr software segment, some have already reported their Q2 results. Paycom delivered year-on-year revenue growth of 9.8%, beating analysts' expectations by 3.5%. American Express Global Business Travel reported revenues up 37.9%, topping estimates by 3.7%.
