bKash has introduced enhanced security features for its Card to bKash Add Money service. This change aims to make transactions more secure and seamless for customers using Visa, Mastercard, or American Express cards.

Now, when a customer uses the Add Money service from a card for the first time, they must save their card in the bKash app. To do this, they need to complete biometric verification by matching a live selfie with their National Identity photograph submitted during bKash wallet registration.

The customer also needs to complete a BDT 500 Add Money transaction during the card-saving process. After 24 hours of completing the first Add Money transaction, they can use the saved card regularly for Add Money transactions. A maximum of five cards can be saved in a single bKash account.
