bKash Boosts Security with Biometric Card Verification

bKash Limited has introduced enhanced security features for its 'Add Money' service from Visa, Mastercard, and American Express cards.

The new feature requires customers to save their card in the bKash app through biometric verification by matching a live selfie with their national identity photograph submitted during bKash wallet registration.

To complete the process, customers must first make a Tk 500 'Add Money' transaction. After 24 hours, they can use the saved card for regular transactions.

The updated security measures aim to improve the convenience and security of digital transactions in the country's digital payment ecosystem.
