BlackRock Invests $5.25 Billion in Honeywell Aerospace
BlackRock Inc., one of the world's largest asset managers, has made a significant investment in Honeywell Aerospace. In its latest Form 13F filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), BlackRock disclosed that it purchased approximately $5.25 billion worth of Honeywell Aerospace shares in the second quarter. The company acquired 23,762,174 shares of the aerospace manufacturer's stock.
This investment makes BlackRock one of the largest shareholders of Honeywell Aerospace, with a stake of about 7.50% as of its most recent SEC filing. Several other institutional investors also bought new stakes in Honeywell Aerospace during the second quarter, including Bell Investment Advisors Inc., Trifecta Capital Advisors LLC, and J.Safra Asset Management Corp.
Honeywell Aerospace has been a focus for analysts in recent months. Morgan Stanley set a $205 price target on the company's stock, while BNP Paribas Exane lowered its target from $245 to $210. Despite the mixed views, Honeywell Aerospace currently holds a Hold rating among analysts with an average price target of $224.17.
