Blackstone-Backed QTS Realty Trust Seeks $3.9B in Data Center Bonds
Blackstone Inc.-backed QTS Realty Trust Inc. has successfully offered high-grade bonds to fund the construction of a Microsoft Corp.-linked data center in Georgia.
The company issued $3.9 billion in five-year notes, which attracted demand of about six times that amount, with investors placing as much as $23 billion of peak orders through Bloomberg Terminal.
This level of interest is significantly higher than the average 3.8 times subscription levels seen this year for blue-chip bonds, according to data compiled by Bloomberg.
