Blizzard Surges as Xbox's Top Studio Amid Diablo 4 and Overwatch Success
According to an internal email, Blizzard has become Microsoft and Xbox's top-performing studio. The success of Diablo 4: Lord of Hatred, Overwatch, and WoW led to back-to-back growth for the studio.
The email, obtained by Windows Central, was sent by Blizzard President Johanna Faries to staff. It highlights that FY26 has marked the third highest fiscal year for top-line revenue in Blizzard's history.
Blizzard operates as a 'limited-integration entity' within Microsoft and Xbox, meaning its teams and leadership remain intact while other Xbox studios struggle.
