Blizzard Unveils Diablo IV's Future Seasons, Amazon Class Return

Blizzard's Diablo team shared plans for the game's future at BlizzCon 2026, including the Season of Hell's Legacy, which marks the 'pinnacle' of Diablo's 30th anniversary celebration. This season runs from September 15, 2026, and features the return of Deckard Cain in his lost soul form. Players will face off against the Echoes of the Prime Evils Mephisto, Baal, and Diablo by revisiting their iconic thrones.

The season also introduces Waking Nightmares, dungeons where players relive epic battles from past Diablo titles. By defeating the most difficult Waking Nightmares, players can earn a rare resource to switch whose Splinter of Evil they bear, changing reputation tracks and earning different rewards.

In 2027, the Amazon Class will make its return as a Class Pack in the first half of the year, with three design pillars: battle expertise, athleticism, and mythical magic. The class has four archetypes: the Champion, Skirmisher, Ranger, and Commander.
