Bloom Energy Poised to Outshine Nvidia in AI Boom
Bloom Energy and Nvidia are both benefiting from the AI boom, but one stock stands out as a more compelling investment opportunity. Bloom develops solid oxide fuel cells (SOFCs), which can convert natural gas, propane, biogas, and hydrogen into electricity without combustion.
The company's SOFC systems are in high demand from big tech companies and hyperscalers, who use them to support the expansion of their cloud and AI infrastructure. In fact, Bloom has a growing backlog of $20 billion at the end of 2025.
Nvidia, on the other hand, is the world's largest producer of data center GPUs, which are used to train AI algorithms. While it dominates its niche market, Nvidia faces intense competition from AMD's lower-cost GPUs and custom AI chips from Broadcom.
