BLS International Stock Slumps Amid Visa Fraud Allegations
BLS International's stock plummeted up to 14% in Monday's trading session following reports of alleged visa fraud.
The company's shares hit an intraday low of Rs 233.47 apiece on the NSE, down 14%, before paring some losses and settling at Rs 242.17 apiece, a decrease of 10.73%.
BLS International rejected allegations of involvement in visa irregularities, stating that 'there is no evidence establishing any wrongdoing by BLS International or its employees in relation to the issuance of visas.'
The company noted that all decisions regarding visa processing and issuance rest solely with diplomatic and consular authorities.
