BNP Paribas Boosts Stake in American Express

BNP Paribas has increased its stake in American Express Company (NYSE:AXP) by 50.0% during the second quarter, according to a recent disclosure with the SEC.

The firm owned 9,056 shares of the payment services company's stock after purchasing an additional 3,017 shares during the period.

Other institutional investors have also made changes to their positions in American Express. Brighton Jones LLC raised its stake by 24.4% during the fourth quarter and now owns 6,481 shares valued at $1,924,000.

Schnieders Capital Management LLC purchased a new stake in American Express during the second quarter worth $428,000.
