BNY Mellon Boosts Stake in PennyMac Mortgage Investment Trust
Bank of New York Mellon Corp recently acquired a new stake in PennyMac Mortgage Investment Trust (NYSE:PMT) during the second quarter. The firm bought 544,097 shares valued at approximately $6.14 million.
This adds to the company's existing holdings, making Bank of New York Mellon Corp the largest shareholder with about 0.62% ownership. It is not the only institutional investor that has increased its stake in PMT; AQR Capital Management LLC lifted its position by 36.7% during Q1 and now owns 16,155 shares valued at $237,000.
JPMorgan Chase & Co. also increased its holdings of PennyMac Mortgage Investment Trust by 4.6% in the second quarter, purchasing an additional 19,389 shares.
