Boeing 737-10 Completes Final Certification Flight Test

The Boeing 737-10 has completed its final planned certification flight test, marking a significant milestone in its development program. The test program involved 976 flights totaling over 2,060 hours of flying time and about 1,040 ground test hours.

The certification requirements were validated through the test scope, which included main landing gear, brakes on wet runways and maximum-energy stops, as well as the 737 Engine Anti-Ice solution and the enhanced Angle of Attack system.

According to Chris Payne, vice president and general manager of 737 Development Programs, 'Reaching this milestone is a huge testament to the commitment and dedication of the entire team.'
