Boeing 737 MAX 10 Delays Leave Airlines Waiting

The Boeing 737 MAX 10 has an impressive customer base, including major airlines like United Airlines and American Airlines. However, the aircraft's certification issues have caused significant delays, resulting in a substantial backlog of over 1,000 orders.

Certification issues are the primary concern for the 737 MAX 10. System safety assessments, required by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), have been a major hurdle. Boeing engineer Nathan Bement explained that even if a scenario is theoretically possible, it must be explored to ensure system safety.

In contrast, the Airbus A321XLR has been gaining popularity due to its higher range and capacity. With certification issues plaguing the 737 MAX 10, many airlines are opting for the A321XLR instead.
