Boeing 737 Max Jets Ordered to Undergo Crack Inspections Amid Safety Concerns
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has ordered inspections for hundreds of Boeing 737 Max jets after reports of cracks in some older models. The directive affects certain aircraft under three Boeing 737 Max models: the 737-8, 737-9, and 737-8200.
According to the FAA, this covers an estimated 471 planes. The rule is final and will take effect on September 10. It aims to address the 'unsafe condition' tied to prior reports.
