A massive Boeing 737 weighing 35,000kg will be pulled down the tarmac by teams of volunteers at Bournemouth Airport next week. The event is part of the Dorset Plane Pull 2026 charity event taking place on Bank Holiday Monday, August 31.

Twenty teams will compete to drag the aircraft 50 meters in the shortest time while raising funds for charity. Richard Griffin, event operations manager, said: 'We're absolutely delighted to be returning for the Dorset Plane Pull in 2026.'

The event has raised over £400,000 since its launch in 2009 and will support 20 charities this year.
