Boeing 747 Suites Soar in Johor Bahru Luxury Hotel
Two decommissioned Boeing 747s have been transformed into luxury hotel suites in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. The aircraft, named Bove and Bey, are part of an aviation-themed lifestyle complex called the 1975 Avenue & Hotel, developed by Tiong Nam Group.
The suites, located about 20 minutes from the city centre, offer a unique overnight stay experience. Each suite features a king-size bed, separate bathtub, bathroom with rain shower, and living area, accommodating up to three people.
The complex also includes 20 hotel rooms themed after different countries, a lagoon pool, cantilevered swimming pool, sunken Jacuzzi, gymnasium, spa, sauna facilities, and family-friendly playground. Nightly rates range from RM1,706 to RM2,786, depending on the room type.
Tiong Nam Group describes the 1975 Avenue & Hotel as 'a lifestyle destination designed to offer memorable experiences for families, business travellers, and lifestyle seekers alike.' The complex is set amidst resort gardens and features a retro, orange-hued design blending hospitality, dining, retail, and experiential leisure.
