Boeing 747s Turned Luxury Hotel Suites in Johor Bahru
A unique accommodation option has arrived in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, where travelers can stay inside decommissioned Boeing 747 aircraft. The 1975 Avenue & Hotel complex features two former wide-body jetliners, Bove and Bey, which have been converted into luxury cockpit suites.
Bove was previously operated by Pan Am, while Bey was operated by Japan Airlines before being sold and decommissioned. The suites offer a king-size bed, separate bathtub, bathroom with rain shower, and living area, accommodating up to three people per room.
Nightly rates range from RM1,706 to RM2,786, depending on the room type. In addition to the aircraft-themed accommodations, the complex features 20 hotel rooms inspired by different countries, as well as a lagoon pool, cantilevered swimming pool, sunken Jacuzzi, gymnasium, spa, and sauna facilities.
A spokesperson for Tiong Nam Group, the developer of the complex, described it as 'a lifestyle destination designed to offer memorable experiences' for families, business travelers, and lifestyle seekers. The integration of aviation heritage, contemporary hospitality, and vibrant dining concepts positions this project as a landmark attraction in Johor Bahru.
