Boeing Acquires Stake in Archer Aviation with $200 Million Revenue Deal
Archer Aviation is set to acquire three Boeing subsidiaries, Wisk Aero, Insitu, and SkyGrid, in a deal that will give Boeing a significant stake in the company.
The acquisition price is a portion of Archer's own shares, with Boeing receiving stock equal to 19.75% of Archer's outstanding shares at closing, leaving them owning about 16.5% of the company.
This deal brings Archer a revenue base it currently lacks, with Insitu contributing over $200 million in annual revenue from its unmanned military aircraft used by 35 nations.
Archer's own trailing-12-month revenue is $6.9 million, making the acquired revenue about 29 times that of their current revenue.
