Boeing Agrees to Pay Kenyan Families $2.73 Million Each for Ethiopian Airlines Crash
Nearly seven years after the Ethiopian Airlines Flight 302 crash, Boeing has agreed to pay $2.73 million (Sh353 million) each to 32 Kenyan families affected by the disaster.
The new settlements total $87.36 million (Sh11.3 billion) for Kenyan claimants and bring their total compensation to an estimated Sh17.3 billion, including earlier payments.
The crash on March 10, 2019, killed all 157 people on board, with Kenya recording the highest number of victims among the 30 nationalities involved.
