Boeing Aircraft Drawings Leak Exposes Export Control Risks
A large archive of confidential Boeing aircraft drawings has been leaked to the darknet. The documents, which include technical materials and engineering files for Boeing 737 and 787 airliners, are being sold for $200,000. However, the seller is willing to negotiate the price.
The archive contains working drawings in PDF format, 3D models, specifications for materials and components, and information about manufacturing equipment and technological processes. The documents also include Boeing catalog numbers and details related to fuselages, wings, structural components, and interior elements.
Experts warn that the sale of these files could violate strict US export controls, as they bear special markings regulated by these restrictions. The source of the leak is believed to be SEKISUI Aerospace, a company operating in the United States and owned by Japan's Sekisui Chemical Corporation.
