Boeing and Northrop Grumman Demonstrate Integrated Manned-Unmanned Teaming Capabilities
Boeing and Northrop Grumman have successfully demonstrated their ability to integrate manned and unmanned aircraft systems, thanks to the use of universal standard interfaces.
The demonstration involved a P-8A Poseidon and an MQ-4C Triton working together to execute anti-surface warfare and Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance, and Targeting missions. The two platforms communicated through a machine-readable interface, allowing them to share intelligence and mission planning in real-time.
The demonstration highlights the potential for increased interoperability between different aircraft systems, making it easier for operators to share resources and information across platforms.
