Boeing-Anduril Team Picks Up Speed in Army Air Defense Competition
The Boeing-Anduril team has advanced in the U.S. Army's competition to develop a second interceptor for its Indirect Fire Protection Capability Increment 2 air defense system.
According to the companies, their new interceptor will be able to protect both fixed and forward positions from airborne threats.
The downselect announcement was made on September 9, 2026.
