Boeing Attracts New Investor as Institutional Stakes Rise
German American Bancorp Inc., a financial institution, has invested in The Boeing Company (NYSE:BA), purchasing 23,526 shares worth approximately $5.09 million in the second quarter.
This is not an isolated investment; several other institutional investors and hedge funds have also recently made changes to their positions in BA. Vanguard Group Inc., for instance, increased its stake by 5.1% in the fourth quarter, buying an additional 3,460,021 shares.
Geode Capital Management LLC boosted its stake in Boeing by 3.2% in the same quarter, while Fisher Asset Management LLC grew its holdings by 2.5%. Charles Schwab Investment Management Inc. also increased its position by 3.3%, buying an additional 138,469 shares.
These investments demonstrate confidence in Boeing's future prospects. The company has recently signed framework agreements with the Pentagon to increase production of components for SM-3 Block IIA and Block IB interceptor missiles.
