Boeing August Deliveries Dip Amid 787 Slowdown

Boeing's August deliveries dipped slightly to 51 jets, down from the previous month and last year's figure of 57. The company attributed the decline to fewer handovers of its 787 Dreamliner model.

The number of 787s handed over to customers fell from nine in August 2025 to four this year. A Boeing spokesperson said production, supply chain, or certification issues were not responsible for the drop.

Despite the decrease, Boeing still expects to deliver 90-100 787s by the end of the year. The company's financial turnaround relies heavily on increasing output of its highly profitable twin-aisle jet.
