A Boeing 767 cargo plane overran the runway at Miami International Airport on Sunday, September 6, causing a ground stop for all departures.

The incident occurred when Prime Air Flight 7598, a Boeing 767-300, landed at the airport after departing from Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

The plane crossed the runway and entered a field beyond the perimeter road, coming to a stop on Northwest 67th Avenue, according to video obtained by WSVN.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has issued a statement confirming the incident and announced that it will investigate the cause of the overrun.
