Boeing Challenges F-35's Stealth Tech, Offers Exit Strategy
Boeing has offered an exit strategy for its competitor's product, the F-35C Lightning II, developed and produced by Lockheed Martin.
This is a clash of two industry giants in the world of fifth-generation fighter jets, which are known to be extremely expensive due to their advanced technology and low-observable manufacturing requirements.
Boeing officials have questioned the cost and effectiveness of the F-35's stealth technology against modern air defense systems developed by Russia and China.
The company has also promoted its own products, the F/A-18 Super Hornets and EA-18G Growler, as a hedge against the Joint Strike Fighter program.
